We are accepting resumes For this IT Field Service Tech position, we need candidates with strong hardware break-fix experience who lives in the State of Florida coverage area. This is a 100% driving position that requires all Candidates to successfully Pass a DMV driving history check, Criminal Background check, and Credit Check. Must have reliable, personal vehicle (miles reimbursed according to Gagiteck Inc policy).
Overtime is possible, and, after training is complete, the candidate will be added to the on-call rotation 7x24.
Overview:
- Technician will travel to each client’s location to provide service
- Must maintain good customer focus meeting deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots IT network appliances, Network cabling, Circuit testing, media displays | players, repairs desktops, laptops, servers, POS systems and printers
- Works under general supervision
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience supporting remote access, rack & server repairs | troubleshooting media players, display monitors, desktops, laptops, POS systems, Network | routers | Firewalls | switches, Cat5/Cat6 cabling | troubleshooting, MUST KNOW HOW TO USE Putty, Team Viewer, Microsoft Teams etc, and printers
- 3 years of customer service experience required
- Ability to work weekends, staggered or late shifts possibly including evenings and/or weekends
- Interpersonal skills needed to interact with a wide range of users and environments
Must Haves:
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required (driving position – reimbursed accordingly)
- Fully Working laptop w/ethernet port (NO Chromebooks | Tablets)

- Ability to work from a bent, crouched, or kneeled position
- Ability to work on a ladder or lift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Smartphone with tethering / hot spot capabilities (POST-PAID UNLIMITED TALK, TEXT & DATA PLAN REQUIRED)
- Working Laptop (NO CHROMEBOOKS or TABLETS) and Networking hand tools required
Preferred:
- CompTIA A | Network | Security | certifications
- Network Certification - CCNA
- OEM Printer Warranty certifications
- OEM Laptop / Desktop Warranty certifications
- Server experience a Required
- POS experience Required
