What are the responsibilities and job description for the Visual Designer position at GalaxE.Solutions?
What You Will Do
- Contribute to visualizing, designing and conceptualizing user experiences.
- Apply design principles to color, typography, layout, and image choices appropriately to create visual solutions that meet business and user needs.
- Execute concepts under the oversight of a Lead or Manager-level Designer and create visual artwork deliverables from wireframes and specs.
- Understand and apply Online Standards and brand guidelines to visual design collateral.
- Assist in developing and documenting style through the creation of style guides and delivery mock-ups.
- Understand how front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) impact design decisions.
- Assist with presenting design concepts and direction to the client.
- Provide quality assurance of creative deliverables.
- Contribute to the development of the design team’s culture and quality standards.
- Delegate, on occasion, some responsibilities to other designers and oversee junior designers where needed.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift to 15 lbs., as needed
- Must be able to work on-site (corporate/client offices), as needed (not applicable for 100% remote roles)
