BUDTENDER POSITION

We are seeking budtenders who are responsible, professional, well-spoken and respectful towards all customers and coworkers.
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, changing environment while ensuring that all transactions and store operations remain compliant with all local and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all LCB, State and City regulations.
• Verifying customer’s IDs.
• Uphold excellent customer service skills and a service orientated culture to assess customers’ needs and provide a positive, knowledge-based assistance.
• Accurate balancing and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) system
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Performs opening and closing duties
• Ensure the sales floor is properly stocked and the presence of the store is well maintained
• Assist in verifying accuracy of order deliveries by counting product
• Remaining up-to-date with product knowledge
• Provide necessary support to the management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly and properly.
• Listens and responds to customer and coworker needs/requests appropriately and timely.
• Actively seek out development opportunities to learn and grow.
• Assist in the training and development of peers.
• Ensure that the show room is fully stocked and support that all display and backstock areas are clean and organized.
• Reliable transportation, regular, dependable attendance and punctuality is required

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older
• Possess a valid driver’s license or state ID.
• 1 year of customer service experience
• Previous experience with POS systems like Greenbits (preferred)
• Desire to continuously learn more about cannabis, previous knowledge is a big plus!
• Demonstrates ownership, accountability, initiative and quality of work
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Email, etc
• Contribute to a positive, friendly, caring, respectful and healthy environment
• Open communication with the management team and other coworkers
• Ability to stand/walk/sit for prolonged periods at a time
• Have an extensive knowledge or desire to learn about cannabis products
• Basic business math, including counting and giving correct change, opening/closing tills accurately, etc.
• While prior experience in the cannabis industry is not required, it is preferred.

*Selected candidates will be required to complete a post offer, pre-employment background check potentially with the local law enforcement.

Wage

· $15.74 per hour

Employment type

· Full time (2 positions available)

*Will require working varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or events as required.

Physical Requirements

• Capacity to lift, bend, kneel, squat, move product/documents and carry weight up to 50 lbs.
• May include sitting, standing or walking for extended periods of time.
• Ability to ascend/descend a ladder to stock products, cleaning, etc.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Cannabis: 1 year (Preferred)
• POS: 1 year (Preferred)
