Job Title: Home Care Scheduler

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Home Care Scheduler. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating schedules for our team of caregivers and ensuring that all client appointments are efficiently managed. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a commitment to providing exceptional care to our clients.

Responsibilities:

Schedule Coordination:

Manage and coordinate schedules for caregivers based on client needs and availability.

Ensure that all client appointments are scheduled appropriately and efficiently.

Handle last-minute scheduling changes and adjustments as needed.

Communication:

Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and other team members to ensure smooth scheduling operations.

Relay schedule changes and updates promptly to all relevant parties.

Respond promptly to inquiries and requests related to scheduling.

Client Relations:

Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.

Gather information about client preferences and needs to inform scheduling decisions.

Address any scheduling concerns or issues raised by clients in a professional and timely manner.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of caregiver schedules, client appointments, and any scheduling changes.

Ensure that all relevant documentation is complete and up-to-date.

Team Support:

Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all client needs are met effectively.

Provide support and assistance to caregivers as needed regarding scheduling-related matters.

Quality Assurance:

Monitor and track caregiver attendance and punctuality.

Identify opportunities for improving scheduling processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

Proven experience in scheduling, preferably in a healthcare or home care setting.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with scheduling software or similar tools.

Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients and caregivers.

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare administration is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.72 - $20.14 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
