Title : System Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION :
REQUIREMENT
- Read existing COBOL report scripts to understand and document the sources of data, transformations and or calculations, and dependencies
- Work with both system and business owners of existing mainframe reports to understand and document current use and audience of the reports
- Partner with relational database analysts and developers to identify new source data
QUALIFICATION
- Prior experience with COBOL development language in either a systems analyst or developer capacity
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, allowing you to interview Business partners to understand project objectives, use cases and requirements
- Proficiency in writing system requirements and all the supporting documentation, including the ability to diagram business processes and system workflows
- The ability to optimally take direction and work independently to accomplish objectives.
- A solid grasp of the financial services industry, attained through training and application experience.
- Experience with View Direct desirable
