Job Summary
Manage Gallagher Re relationships with key reinsurers, acting as a focal point for queries and escalated matters from the BU, Client Service Advocates, Reinsurer Accountants and reinsurers.
Provide timely turnaround of cash to meet Gallagher Re Service Level Agreements with clients, contractual collection provisions and US regulatory requirements tied to schedule F, and reduce E&O exposure and enhance customer service.
Responsible for collecting open balances of domestic markets who participate on US live clients through building and maintaining excellent relationships with reinsurers, Client Service Advocates (CSAs), Reinsurer Account Controllers (RACs), Claim Technicians, and Client Services.
Responsibilities:
Manage collection of open balances, cash calls, aged balances, statement of offset funds, and meet contractual and statutory requirements for Gallagher Re Inc. US live business.
Maintain ongoing, sustainable and dynamic relationships with reinsurers to facilitate prompt resolution of issues and queries.
Coordinate and brief senior management and Client Service Advocates (CSAs) on issues impacting service.
Maintain strong working relationships with Mumbai US team leadership and Reinsurer Accountants.
Meet with CSAs weekly and senior management monthly to discuss aged balances and steps taken to ensure prompt collection.
As applicable, identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementation.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 3 or more year’s client coordination and/or claims management experience, OR High School degree with 8 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience.
- Able and willing to travel approximately 10% of the time.

- Experience of query and issue resolution
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint to analyze and chase balances and communicate results
