Working as part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team of web development professionals, you will effectively contribute to our mid-market communication team by providing the technical support and direction for digital solution implementation required to meet client needs. This role is also responsible for the advancement of tech deliverables that expand and evolve mid-market communication digital projects. You should be able to consult and provide technology recommendations for clients while supporting, developing and maintaining business relationships within the Practice to promote quality-of-service and excellence.

Responsibilities:

• To support in the delivery of project-based work, working with our proprietary Employee Experience Platform
• To be able to actively contribute in technical meetings, internally and externally
• To assist in the delivery of technical responses in order to win new business (written and face to face)
• To be able to contribute in all aspects of digital service delivery, support other roles and teams where there is a project need or skills gap and, as required, perform the role of any lower role in the team in order to ensure project success
• Maintain and form client relationships to enable effective delivery of project work
• Respond to client issues and requirements and escalate to the project manager to ensure these are addressed as required
• To attend suggested relevant courses and take advantage of other L&D opportunities that arise
• Support for a variety internal software applications
• Consider and evaluate new software and tech solutions to meet the needs of this market segment
• To be able to provide reasoned estimates of time and resources to aid work planning

Essential

• At least 3 years of professional experience working in strongly typed programming
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiarity with RxJS, NgRx, or other state management libraries
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services integration
• A strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• A proven proactive approach to staying up to date with new technologies, tools, and best practices in web development.
• Awareness of time and budget constraints when delivering project work

Bonus Points

• Knowledge of other modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js)
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or DevOps
• Commercial awareness
• Ability to develop ideas for product or service delivery innovation

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
