What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service/Cashier position at Gallery Flower Shop?
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Promote sales by offering additional products or services
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math and cash handling procedures
- Familiarity with electronic products and technical sales is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
