IS Specialist I

Galt Foundation is looking for a IS Specialist to join our team. This person will provide technical guidance and support to our clients .    

Description:

• Planning and development of automated applications systems to support the business needs of the organization, Includes review and analysis of user functions and activities, evaluation of available resources and current systems and the development of appropriate programs or systems.
• Works with users management and others to identify and define long and short-range information service requirements.

 Typical functions include :

• analyzing of organization business needs;
•  conferring with issues to evaluate requirements;
•  discussing solutions and developing plans of approach; 
• performing all aspects of systems design; 
• testing and evaluation of new processes and implementation of new applications,
•  participates in structured walkthroughs and other activities to review systems and provide training and support, provides technical assistance; 
• performs ongoing maintenance and review of applications systems and programs; 
• identifies problems and develops appropriate solutions; 
• participate in the planning, design, development, integration, and implementation of software technology.

Must be able to stand a minimum of 6 hours a day and lift at least 50lbs. frequently. This position will primarily work in the information technology department and may have other duties as assigned due to necessity.

There are fulltime and part time positions available. Hours of operation are 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday.
