Job Title: Bartender. Employment Type: Full Time & Part Time

Job Details

The Bartender’s primary responsibility is to service guests, prepare and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages to guests courteously and efficiently according to restaurant specifications. They will maintain stock, supplies and cleanliness of bar and equipment in addition to receiving and processing all cash and credit card payments for restaurant.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES-Includes, but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Must have the ability to read and speak fluently in English

• Greet and serve guests at the bar with a warm welcome and positive attitude. Bartender is required to check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.

• Determines guests needs and assist guests with making selections and recommendations so as to enhance the guest experience.

• Have full knowledge of both Food and Wine menus.

• Pour drinks, using standard pour according to specifications ensuring you are following correct pour measurements.

• Serve drinks to guests in a polite and professional manner, along with filling orders for the Servers.

• Accurately enter food and drink orders into the toast POS system.

• Handle cash and credit transactions.

• Strong organization skills to keep the bar area organized, cleaned and operate bar equipment.

• Keep area behind bar clean and organized and operate bar equipment.

• Direct and assist Barbacks and Servers in their job functions to ensure smooth and efficient service to guests.

• Monitors guest to prevent over indulgence and ensure safety.

• Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team who is proactive.

• Ability to ensure guests receive welcoming hospitality, ensuring that their needs are met. Passionate about hospitality and customer service driven.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers.

• Ability to define problems, collect data and notify management when necessary.

• Exceptional follow-up abilities and able to resolve problems. Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.

EDUCATION

• High School diploma or equivalent and or above

EXPERIENCE

•3yrs experience as a Bartender
