PURPOSE STATEMENT
Game One is the premier provider of apparel, gear, and equipment unifying teams and fans in schools, clubs, and organizations.
JOB SUMMARY
A buyer is responsible for ordering apparel, sportswear, hard goods, and accessories needed to complete customer orders per specifications. This position will assist in the management and tracking of cancelled orders and returns.
JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Place orders with vendors, issue PO’s, and obtain pricing per SOP.
- Assist with and adjust inventory counts.
- Work with Accounts Payable team members to verify and confirm credits.
- Work with CRR and Sales team members to communicate backorders, substitutions, or exceptions to customer order specifications.
- Ordering all custom products and assist in processing returns.
- Process orders for ASI promotional items and any specialty/custom orders.
- Become proficient and trained in all aspects of the purchasing and custom uniforms department as needed.
- Other duties as assigned or dictated by the needs of the business.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent computer skills, including internet experience and keyboard proficiency.
- Excellent communication skills, telephone, and email.
- Ability to always project a professional image to vendors and customers.

Salary : $36,000 - $45,500
