We are hiring Video Game Party Host to act as a Game Coach to drive our video game trailers to private parties, Corporate, Campus, & National Brand events booked around (Dayton/Cincinnati/NKY). The vast majority of our business is weekend birthday parties.

Weekend availability is a must, as well as a professional image, ability to work well WITHOUT close supervision, and knowledge of current video games and systems is desired but not required .

• Don't know how to pull a trailer? We will train you.
• Don't know much about video games? We will train you.
• What we can't train someone to do is care.

If you value what we value, you can do what we do and we will train you to do it. Drivers can earn ($13-$20 per hour) or more on the weekend (tips).

Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Driving the GameTruck mobile game theater (truck and trailer / 65 feet long) to event locations.
• Facilitating fun video game private events and interact with guests.
• Maintaining the trailer, vehicle and equipment appearance.
• Present the professional image our customers expect from GameTruck.

A Standard Day

A standard day involves arriving at the equipment depot/office, inspecting and checking out your equipment. You then drive to the events by following a pre-planned route. At the event you run the party and manage the equipment. You interact with the gamers throughout the event and collect payment from the customer when the event is done. When the day’s events are done, you return to the depot for inspection and check-in.

Successful Applicants

Enjoy working with kids and have an outgoing personality - Can work weekends and evenings on a flexible schedule - Are able to manage chaotic situations with calm enthusiasm - Have general knowledge of video gaming, consoles, and audio/video equipment - Able to meet deadlines, be punctual, and maintain a professional image.

PLEASE NOTE

Selected candidates will receive a driving record and criminal background check. A clean driving record is required.

Must be able to work Friday evenings as well as Saturday and Sunday.

Must have dependable transportation and a valid drivers license.

Hourly Wage Event TIPS quarterly performance-based bonuses.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
