Remote Biller

 

Summary

Coordinates all Client billings for the Company by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Key requisitions accurately. Meet daily submission goals. Update incorrect billing information. Update incorrect patient demographics. Use all available resources to verify patient eligibility. Verifies all entries are accurate and makes corrections if necessary. Notify supervisor of any issues regarding errors from other departments. Prioritize reports given by the supervisor or manager with attention to balance and timely filing constraints. Answer the phones in the office and respond to patient needs or transfer communication to the appropriate party. Respond to all phone calls and emails in a timely manner. Makes recommendations to management for write-offs.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

 

Reasoning Ability

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Seacoast and Copia Database software; Various 3rd party websites Internet software; NovaTime Payroll systems; Ascentis Employee Self Service Human Resource systems; Google Documents Spreadsheet software and Google Documents Word Processing software. Must type at least 45 wpm.
