What are the responsibilities and job description for the Access Management Analyst position at GaN?
Overview
We are currently seeking an Access Management Analyst in support of PEO Aviation located in Huntsville, AL. This is an intermediate level position. The successful candidate will work with PEO Aviation’s Cyber Team to grant authorized users the right to access the PEO AVN network or use a service while preventing access to non-authorized users. This role contributes to achieving the appropriate confidentiality, availability, and integrity of the command’s data.
Responsibilities
Duties:
- Under general supervision, performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
- Evaluates and verifies access requests. Conducts accurate evaluation of the level of security required.
- Creates, updates, maintains, and audits access control policies for multiple information systems.
- Creates new identity records in the identity database and performs appropriate edits and deletions to existing identity records.
- Provides and maintains access rights
- Monitors, Manages and Report Access Management activities
- Ensures that user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security.
- Controls and tracks who has access to network, data and services
- Ensures that those with access maintain required certifications and trainings to continue access
- operates within and enforces controls described by IT security policies and organization directives
- Performs Army Training & Certification Tracking System (ATCTS) audits
Qualifications
Qualities:
- Ability to interpret and apply DOD and Army level cyber instructions and regulations
- Familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
Required Qualifications:
- Security Certification
- Active Secret Clearance
- IAT II Certification
- Experience with Active Directory
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with ATCTS
- Professional experience with Identity and Access Management
