As a Customer Retention Specialist, you'll be the voice of Gannett, dedicated to retaining our valued clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Taking ownership of customer concerns and ensuring resolutions.
Investigating and resolving customer issues promptly and efficiently.
Making independent decisions following established guidelines.
Maintaining a customer-centric approach, in line with CSC's Best Practices/QA guidelines.
Exceeding productivity standards and providing one-call resolutions.
Handling escalated customer situations with finesse and achieving issue closure.
Completing all required documentation for customer interactions.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
High School Diploma or the equivalent of 1-year work experience required
A passion for customer service and problem-solving. Experience working in Customer Service/Client Retention is preferred.
Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to diffuse challenging situations.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Strong time management skills to excel in a fast-paced environment.
High Accuracy rate in your work including communications, documentation, etc.
Self-motivated, creative, flexible, willing to take initiative, accountable, and able to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Must be able to accurately complete basic math calculations.
Employment is contingent on passing a pre-employment, post-offer background check
