Position Summary

We are seeking a graduate student with a flexible schedule who is eager to work alongside various departments in our office suite. Students must be passionate about providing a welcoming environment for students, staff, and faculty in a way that encourages community, networking, and service to promote transformational experiences. You will be a part of a diverse and supportive team of professional staff members and students

Key Skills/Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk which includes greeting guests, answering phone calls and scheduling student appointments for 3-5 different departments within the center
- Responsible for opening/closing the center during working hours
- Communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and guests in a professional manner
- Assist with administrative duties as assigned
- Assist with small projects / run errands on campus as needed
- Must maintain strict confidentiality with respect to students, faculty and staff
- Ability to maintain an organized and professional workspace
- Represent Gannon University and the Student Success Center through maintain an organized and professional workspace.
Required Qualifications
- Must be organized
- Must be able to work independently and use critical thinking skills
- The candidate will possess excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office products and comfortable learning various software platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Knowledge of Gannon campus and resources
- Good academic and conduct records at Gannon
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated campus leadership experience
- flexible schedule and looking to grow with our office in future semesters
- Demonstrate the desire to grow personally and professional and possess values of living out the Gannon experience
Physical Demands
- Must be able to navigate the office and the entire campus environment with ease as the job requires one to deliver documents, small packages, and run errands from time-to-time
