Recruiter

Performs professional level duties to attract, screen, recruit, and select new employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for recruiting and staffing positions for headquarters and government clients
• Source and identify qualified applicants; conduct preliminary qualification screens to identify applicants that meet the job requirements
• Prequalify candidates in the interview process using up to date interview and recruitment methodologies
• Manages candidates through interview process and contract period, including but not limited to: Application, References, Background Checks, Interview Schedules, Meet & Greets, Offers, Onboarding, and Security Processing (as needed)
• Assist the business development team on new recruitment opportunities
• Consult with Program Managers to identify clients’ technical skills needs and implement effective sourcing strategies to successfully place candidates; work with Program Managers to identify required core competencies to ensure successful long term hires
• Develop and maintain network and relationships beneficial to recruitment goals
• Maintain responsibility for tracking recruiting activity and other metrics, and ensuring compliance with OFCCP; works with Talent Acquisition team to ensure annual Affirmative Action Plan goals are met
• Maintenance of applicants and candidates in the ATS and proper processing of all applicant and new hire paperwork
• Provide communicative and professional information to candidates and program managers throughout the recruitment process
• Contribute to recruitment process improvements and goals
• Participate in job fairs and trade shows as needed
• Other duties as may be assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year experience in a recruiting or human resources support function.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
• Experience working in a fast paced, professional environment
• Ability to exercise independent judgment to decide on appropriate priorities and procedures to follow
• Ability to provide consistent, high quality service
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels within an organization
• Possession of excellent analytical skills to solve problems of a sensitive nature
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
