Performs professional level duties to attract, screen, recruit, and select new employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for recruiting and staffing positions for headquarters and government clients
Source and identify qualified applicants; conduct preliminary qualification screens to identify applicants that meet the job requirements
Prequalify candidates in the interview process using up to date interview and recruitment methodologies
Manages candidates through interview process and contract period, including but not limited to: Application, References, Background Checks, Interview Schedules, Meet & Greets, Offers, Onboarding, and Security Processing (as needed)
Assist the business development team on new recruitment opportunities
Consult with Program Managers to identify clients’ technical skills needs and implement effective sourcing strategies to successfully place candidates; work with Program Managers to identify required core competencies to ensure successful long term hires
Develop and maintain network and relationships beneficial to recruitment goals
Maintain responsibility for tracking recruiting activity and other metrics, and ensuring compliance with OFCCP; works with Talent Acquisition team to ensure annual Affirmative Action Plan goals are met
Maintenance of applicants and candidates in the ATS and proper processing of all applicant and new hire paperwork
Provide communicative and professional information to candidates and program managers throughout the recruitment process
Contribute to recruitment process improvements and goals
Participate in job fairs and trade shows as needed
Other duties as may be assigned
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year experience in a recruiting or human resources support function.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
Experience working in a fast paced, professional environment
Ability to exercise independent judgment to decide on appropriate priorities and procedures to follow
Ability to provide consistent, high quality service
Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels within an organization
Possession of excellent analytical skills to solve problems of a sensitive nature
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
