At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we’re in. We're growing our team here in Omaha, NE.

Pay: $18.89 hr. based on position Eligibility for company benefits including DailyPay options for all full-time positions!

Shift: Multiple positions are available!

• Days: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (weekdays and weekends)

Nights: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Thursdays - Mondays)

Key Responsibilities:

Access Control Management:

• Administer and oversee the access control system to ensure only authorized personnel have access to the data center.
• Create, modify, and deactivate access cards and credentials as per company policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits of access control records to identify and address any anomalies.

Badging Coordination:

• Manage the issuance and retrieval of identification badges for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date badge information in the system, including employee photographs and relevant access permissions.
• Coordinate with HR and other relevant departments to update badge information in real-time.

Security Monitoring:

• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to detect and respond to any unauthorized access or security breaches.
• Work closely with the security team to investigate and report security incidents promptly.

Visitor Management:

• Implement and oversee a comprehensive visitor management system, including sign-in procedures and temporary access authorization.
• Provide assistance and information to visitors while maintaining a secure and professional demeanor.

Policy Enforcement:

• Enforce security policies and procedures, ensuring strict compliance with access control guidelines.
• Communicate security policies to employees and visitors, promoting a culture of security awareness.

Emergency Response:

• Act as a point of contact during emergency situations, assisting in the implementation of emergency response plans.
• Collaborate with the security team and emergency services to ensure a swift and effective response to incidents.

Training and Awareness:

• Conduct security awareness training for employees on access control procedures and best practices.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in security technology to enhance access control measures.

Your background:

• You’re able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for driving positions and at least 18 years of age for non-driving positions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record for all driving positions.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional security training or certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
• General dispatching experience is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of security procedures and protocols is a plus.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills/experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Computer skills for using access control and surveillance systems.
