Job Description:
The responsibilities of the Painter/Entry Level Maintenance Tech within Garden Remedies broadly embrace the key areas described below.
Painter/ Entry Level Maintenance Tech will assist in the day- to-day operations by painting and cleaning walls as needed to keep a clean and orderly facility.
The Painter/Entry Level Maintenance Tech will assist the Facilities Manager in the general upkeep of the Garden Remedies’ Cultivation and Processing site in Fitchburg, MA.
This position is fulltime M-F 7am-3:30pm and starts at $18/hr benefits.
Along with ongoing development of your role, immediate responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
Ability to mud/paint walls, sand mud and do minor sheetrock repairs.
- Chaperone contractors
- Miscellaneous minor building repairs
- Spot cleaning and painting daily to maintain a clean and professional facility
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Flexibility within multiple work environments
Qualifications and Skills:
- Customer/client focus communication proficiency
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Fluency in computers and applicable programs
REQUIRED SKILLS
- At least 21 years of age
- Strong inter-personal skills with the ability to engage in creating an amicable work environment Candidate must pass a CORI background check in order to work in MA Cannabis Industry
- Ability to comply with all Cannabis Control Commission regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organization and planning skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
