What are the responsibilities and job description for the Safety Manager position at Garney Construction?
As Safety Manager position in Phoenix, AZat Garney Construction, you will be responsible for ensuring safety is the number one priority on our water and sewer pipeline projects.
- Review, implement, and assist on safety regulations and standards to project management and field personnel.
- Conduct safety training for job site personnel.
- Conduct daily safety inspections to identify, document, and correct safety hazard.
- Conduct accident and incident investigations.
- Degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, construction management, or a safety-related degree preferred.
- OSHA 30 Certification in Construction.
- Bilingual- English/Spanish preferred
- Must have or be able to obtain CST within 6 months of employment.
- Willing to travel and or relocate.
