General Summary
Responsible for activities concerned with proposals of low to medium complexity for research, services, and testing. The position works closely with a broad array of internal and external staff in coordinating GTI proposal development.

Primary Responsibilities
- Supports the proposal development process to include review of non-budget forms such as technical narrative, resumes, project management plans and related forms
- Develops and manages templates and standardized language used in proposals
- Researches, summarizes, and communicates new solicitation opportunities to relevant departments
- Serves as liaison with R&D sectors
- Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- Very strong communication, organizational, and project management skills are necessary
- Strong writing and editing skills, and proficient in MS Word and Adobe
- Good team player
- Knowledge of government contracting requirements
- Must be able to organize and handle multiple proposal projects and exhibit activities simultaneously
- Technical/scientific experience or background would be a plus
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university (technical-oriented major preferred); and/or five plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in related marketing, communications, or business development roles
