Job Functions
- Configure and maintain Office 365 and related on-premises services (Azure AD Connect)
- Coordinate with outside vendors to resolve high level escalations from the Service Desk.
- Create, test, modify, and deploy Windows Power Shell scripts for automation or maintenance
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Active Directory domains in a multi-server domain.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and decommission Microsoft Sever 2008-2019 Operating Systems
- Configure, test, and deploy Group Policy; Folder Redirection; and DFS for shared file storage.
- Configure, test, and deploy OneDrive personal file redirection
- Troubleshoot complex issues that have made their way through the Desktop Support team without resolution.
- Translate requirements into an Architectural design and influence the deployment of key infrastructure components
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Configure DNS records such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Create projects that are designed to either add functionality required by the company.
- Research and recommend hardware, software, and supporting technologies for purchase
- Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability
- Plan and implement user accounts, service accounts, file permissions, and file system integrity
- Investigate, recommend, and install enhancements and operation procedures that optimize system availability and performance
- Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions
- Maintain confidentiality regarding the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the network
- Other duties as necessary
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Working Knowledge with creating, modifying, and executing SQL queries
- Experience with Identity Management: Azure Active Directory, Windows Active Directory, MFA, SAML, SSO
- Extensive knowledge of Office 365/Microsoft 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Azure Active Directory.
- Experience Cloud Spam Filter Configuration, maintenance and support (Mimecast, Barracuda, etc.)
- Experience with registrars (registration and transfer of domain name ownership)
- 3-6 years of system administration experience
- Working knowledge of virtualization i.e. VMWare or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of software related to centralized endpoint management, software patching, software deployment, etc.
- Extensive Experience with scripting and automation tools, i.e. PowerShell, Task Schedulers
- Expert Level on Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Microsoft Server Administration, Domain Management
- A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
- Travel up to 10% of the time
- Flexible hours (Afterhours/Weekend work is common and required)
- System administration related IT certifications, i.e. Microsoft SCCM, Server , MCSE
- Basic Project management experience
- Experience working in a healthcare setting is plus
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, a closely related field, or equivalent experience
