Our Patient Account Services Representative provide comprehensive care coordination including managing patient care and coordinating patient treatment plans.
Here are some of the duties you will be responsible for:
- 2 years of Medical experience in customer focus and/or related clinical environment; Good Verbal Communication, Professionalism, Confidentiality, Medical Teamwork.
- Knowledge with insurance verification, electronic medical records, insurance terminology, and medical office processes required.
- Previous experience working in an administrative Insurance Verification setting Ability to interact with patients, medical and administrative staff and the public effectively
- Knowledge of insurance verification process, electronic health systems and medical practice management systems Ability to use other relevant computer hardware and software, telephone, copier, fax machine and other standard medical office equipment
- Skill in customer service and ability to maintain professional attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, manage details and organize efficiently and effectively.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Medical terminology knowledge required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
