What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Brand Management position at Gateway Community Health Center?

Expected Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000/Year

The Director of Brand Management will oversee the company’s overall marketing strategy to include media, website, content creation, trade shows and events, and support for DR’s business development efforts.  

 

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative individual with a passion for working in a collaborative environment.   The Director will serve as a business partner to key functions in the Human Resources, Program Management, and Operations departments, assisting with marketing collateral from design to publishing.  They will also learn and understand Deployed Resources’ overall marketing strategy.

 

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Website: management of Content, Design/ Layout, all Google. Platforms including Google My Business, Reviews, Maps profile, Google Analytics, and Google Events
  • Media: videos/ photography (shooting, editing, etc.), advertising campaigns (recruiting based), etc. 
  • Strategy: short- and long-term initiatives, creation, and expansion of other brands
  • PM Support: cut sheets, printing, business cards, advertising, etc. 
  • Content/ Design: creation and writing, and editing of content for website, blogs, LinkedIn posts, 1-sheeters, briefs, wraps, letterhead, logos, ads, 
  • Events: trade show support 
  • Manages the development and production of all collateral for distribution regarding new equipment, services, internal and external programs 
  • Oversees, manages, and creates all original, high-quality content (including but not limited to collateral, briefs, spec sheets, and so on)
  • Ensure consistent branding and style is adopted across all marketing activities 
  • Executes the planning, design, and organization of website content updates and planning while performing monthly Google Analytics, and G4 reporting
  • Assist with give-away or swag designs, vendor selection, and procurement as necessary
  • Actively manages the day-to-day marketing initiatives, including content development, and web communication strategies, B2B communication strategies, and so on (including but not limited to proposal assistance with graphics, video, and other collateral needs) 
  • Manages regular publishing schedule for social media (LinkedIn only)
  • Partner with the PMO, Operations, Human Resources, and Strategic Sourcing leadership team to plan and manage the production of collateral and promotional materials and align brand messaging for external audiences and prospective customers
  • Strategically implements new communication processes and planning to improve internal workflow and maintain vendor relations
  • Develop marketing materials to support recruiting efforts (advertising, job fairs, etc.) 
  • Offers branding perspective and graphic design support to Proposal Operations team

  • Deliberate planning and goal setting
  • Development of brand awareness and online reputation
  • Exceptional Content management
  • Support Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and generation of inbound traffic working with IT web development
  • Proficient in content marketing theory and application.
  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
  • Excellent writing, language, grammar, and punctuation skills.
  • Practices superior time management.
  • Team player with the confidence and ability to lead other employees when necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).

 

Supervisory Responsibility: 

Supervises the Marketing department staff

 

Work Environment: 

This job operates in a professional office and field environments. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, smart phones, tablets, photocopiers, filing cabinets and other presentation materials.  There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orally.

 

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  Ability to twist, turn, bend, lift, kneel, climb and stand.   Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs may occur. 

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, based remotely.  Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends is required based on contract needs.

 

Travel:  

Up to 20%

 

Required Education and Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required
  • 7 years of relevant professional experience, to include at least 3 years of management, is required

 

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, credit check, and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment.
