Wood Tech Teacher: Gateway Regional School

Gateway Regional School District is seeking a Wood Tech Teacher.
Qualified Candidates Must:
Have a MA Vocational Tech License (Construction; or closely related) (or licensed by August 26, 2024)
Have a Bachelor’s Degree
Experience teaching in a middle school or high school setting (preferred)
Experience using, and teaching how to use, equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Hold an unwavering belief that every student can grow and succeed.
Professional Responsibilities Include:
Teach classes predominantly in high school (Intro to Wood Tech; Wood Tech 1; Wood Tech 2; Wood Tech 3; etc.). Could teach 8th grade exploratory.
Collaborate with other vocational teachers and departments.
Participate in assigned duties per the contract.
Attend staff meetings, professional development, required training, and other meetings during the course of the school year.
Collaboration and ongoing communication with families and colleagues
Potentially other duties requested by administration.
Rate of pay: To be determined based on qualifications, experience, and contract.
