What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optometric Technician position at Gateway Vision?
Responsibilities include:
Patient work-ups.
Retinal photography.
Responding to patient inquiries.
Contacts lens ordering.
Scheduling appointments.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
Skills:
Applicant must be reliable, mature and experience preferred.
A team player with a professional and courteous manner.
Strong Customer Service skills
Must be detail oriented, very computer literate and able to prioritize an everchanging workload.
Knowledge of HIPAA rules.
Experience with EMR preferred.
Medical assistant background preferred.

We are open on Saturdays from 8:30 to noon.
9 paid holidays
2 weeks sick/vacation leave.
