Maintenance/Handyman

About Us:

We are a prominent commercial shopping center management company committed to providing a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for our tenants and visitors. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance/Handyman to join our team and help us uphold the high standards of our property.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Cleaning and Maintenance: Regularly clean and remove debris and trash around the shopping center to ensure a pristine environment.

·         Repairs: Perform minor repairs such as fixing leaks, patching walls, painting, and general upkeep.

·         Vacant Spaces: Show vacant spaces to potential tenants, ensuring they are presentable and well-maintained.

·         Security: Collaborate with local police to trespass vagrants and address security concerns.

·         Tenant Interaction: Communicate with tenants to ensure their satisfaction with the center’s general appearance and address any maintenance concerns they may have.

·         Reporting: Keep management updated with detailed reports, including pictures and descriptions, of any issues or maintenance tasks completed on-site.

·         General Upkeep: Perform routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs throughout the property.

Qualifications:

·         Previous experience in maintenance, handyman services, or a related field.

·         Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.

·         Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

·         Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

·         Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods.

·         Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
