Gator Development Corporation is currently seeking a Drafter to join our team in Miami Lakes, FL.

About the role:
You will be responsible for production of AutoCAD based floor plans and related space management activities to provide lease plans, site plans and rentable area calculations that support leasing, property management and accounting functions within the organization.
What you'll do:
· Draft and maintain revisions for CAD plans of all properties in the portfolio
· Maintain the space management database for all plan and area calculation updates
· Prepare/provide area calculation models for prospective tenant occupancies
· Field verify tenant demising partition configurations as necessary
· Prepare/review multi-tenant corridor layouts, subdivide plans & area calculations
· Prepare Lease Exhibit Plans
· Maintain the space management database for all plan and area calculation updates
· Prepare “Pre-Built” space layout plans for marketing
Our ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree (min), BEng/BArch from College or University in Architecture, and/or Engineering required
- Minimum two years of hands-on architecture and real estate related CAD production and space accounting experience
Skills and abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Studio Max, Rhino is a plus. Must have knowledge in, leases, contracts, and construction practices.
