This position is an integral part of the DEI team efforts to design and integrate a company-wide DEI strategy that aligns with the core vision, mission and values of the company. This position will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and legal compliance. The DEI & Data Analytics Manager will work closely with the Head of DEI, members of the Human Resource team, ERG’s and DEI Committees, and other departments/groups as required to ensure integration of DEI principles into every facet of company processes and practices, execute on strategic priorities and drive successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
This position will support our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion department through reporting and programming of the company’s initiatives. This position also requires coordinating the completion of the company’s diversity surveys, compiling diversity data, and responding to ad hoc demographic report development to meet the customer's short-term needs. This position collaborates with other members of the Human Resources team to develop and ensure the accuracy and integrity of all diversity data, trends, and other related information including reports for internal and external stakeholders. Prepare executive-level presentation materials- advanced excel workbooks and other various reports for organizational reviews.
Main objectives include supporting implementation of diversity and inclusion company initiatives, and ensuring the integrity of diversity data, trends and other related information including reports for internal and external stakeholders. This position will create and maintain the company’s DEI and Employee Resources Group share point site and DEI dashboards, along with other responsibilties as listed:
- Coordinate, implement and manage key strategic DEI programs and initiatives to drive talent acquisition, learning and development strategies, an inclusive workplace, community and client engagement across North America.
- Conduct active review and create systemic integration of DEI strategies into business policies, practices, and procedures.
- Run queries, integrate data from several sources, scrub the data for accuracy and create visuals for the board, executive and employee meetings.
- Receive, manage, coordinate, and collaborate in the completion and delivery of all external diversity and inclusion related surveys, awards, RFPs, and related responses both internally and externally.
- Collect, analyze, and report on statistical diversity data as needed. Display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Manage, mine, and analyze a broad array of quantitative and qualitative data assets. Develop data standards, provide tangible insights, and make recommendations for process improvement based on best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- PHR or SHRM-CP, or data analytics certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI and especially Excel (workbook design, cell formulas and function creation, worksheet management, chart design, data set and table manipulation, and pivot table design); interest in learning new software and an ability to adapt to new software quickly.
- 5 years of experience in collecting, reviewing and organizing data.
- Spreadsheet modeling and presentation-making skills to effectively present data in a compelling way, both verbal and written, and influence decisions.
