Position Purpose:
This is a working leader position. The Maintenance Leader will plan and assign work for those they are is designated to care for. The selected candidate will be qualified to work without on-site supervision and will be responsible for developing and executing on maintenance plans (Material, tooling, and repair schedule). Plans are to be based on recurring preventative maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and predictive maintenance (PdM) activities to support a proactive, reliability centered maintenance (RCM) program.

· Manage work order backlog through the maintenance management system (CMMS)
· Review work scope to procure resources required to complete the work.
· Assist in the completion of produced work orders.

· Publish a daily / weekly / monthly schedule of work orders based on resource availability and site priority.
· Responsible for making sure all items necessary for PM are available and ready when work is planned

· Develop and manage facility maintenance spare parts inventory.
· Including sourcing, ordering, and managing inventory in coordination with the Materials department.

· Create and publish job plans for maintenance tasks to ensure that Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals for the Maintenance department and the shop are met.

· Manage asset data collection (e.g. downtime, meter readings, component tracking, Maintenance notes, labor, etc.).

· Fill in for the Maintenance Supervisor, as needed, to direct and supervise Maintenance employees and ensure daily maintenance calls and issues are addressed and resolved.

Scope of Work:
This position will work closely with Management, Field Technicians, Safety, Quality, Materials, Corporate Representatives, Vendors, and Contractors. This is a high demanding position in a fast-paced environment. This position will help prevent unplanned downtime of equipment that directly supports the Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost goals of the site. The decisions made by the person filling this position are of a highly technical nature, and in the mid to high range of complexity and independent judgment as it relates to facility maintenance operations. This position will coordinate with site leaders on equipment scheduling and availability for maintenance activities. They will look for opportunities to combine outages to optimize system availability, reliability, safety, and economy.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Required (including certifications):
- Must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
- Must obtain a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years’ experience in facility maintenance and/or inventory management.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Journeyman Millwright or similar.
- Previous or current preventative maintenance experience.
- Previous or current equipment repair experience.
- Intermediate computer skills, including ability to become proficient in the following Hippo.

- Must be able to stoop for extended periods and routinely move from kneeling to standing positions
- Must be able to perform overhead work for extended periods
- Must be able to lift (vertically) up to 85 pounds from the ground surface
- Must be able to push / pull (horizontally) up to 140 pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders and perform work at elevated heights
- Must be able to work in extreme temperature environments
- Must be able to physically enter confined space and work in enclosed environments
