Meet Our TeamAs a key contributor to our clinical team, you will work closely with our clients by providing evidence-based, addiction treatment services to our clients at one of our treatment facilities. You will work alongside other clinicians and peers, and will report to the Clinical Supervisor or Clinical Director at your respective facility. The clinical team is responsible for delivering recovery based clinical services to individuals, maintain a caseload of clients, maintain and submit accurate and timely clinical records within our Electronic Heath Records system, create, in collaboration with the clinical team, an individualized treatment plan that focuses on recovery and relapse prevention, and will have significant to advance understanding of how the therapeutic behavioral health programs operation and how clients progress through the treatment system and full continuum of care.

Responsibilities
The Call Center Assessor is responsible for completing the HelpLine’s referral, admissions, and level of care (LOC) assessment process in addition to all related administrative functions including scheduling client transportation. This position serves as the coordinator for new admissions and confirms that all aspects of the intake and LOC assessment process have been completed and recorded in the electronic health record (EHR) system within the required timeframes. This role requires considerable contact with external entities including referral sources, community, and internal HelpLine and program management as well as the HelpLine Medical Assessor, including ongoing working relationship with marketing department. Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to: supporting the achievement of HelpLine utilization goals and objectives; assisting with the completion of Medical Assistance (MA) applications; securing consents; conducting intake and LOC assessments, including ASAM, with a focus creating a client-centered experience; entering timely and accurate intake and assessment data into Pennsylvania Web Infrastructure for Treatment Services (PA WITS) and the agency’s EHR; communicating clearly with clinical team members; and tracking referrals and generating daily reports of admission and discharge statuses.Work is performed with considerable independence in accordance with established regulations, policies, and procedures. Work is reviewed and supervised by the HelpLine Director, HelpLine Team Lead, and HelpLine Supervisor’s, to whom this individual reports.

Qualifications
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities• Knowledge and skill in assessment/evaluation and intake process and procedures• Knowledge of ASAM Criteria and the levels of care• Knowledge of the basic principles, philosophies, practices, and procedures of Gaudenzia’s treatment programs• Knowledge of the biopsychosocial characteristics and maladaptive behaviors of substance use disorders and/or mental illness• Knowledge of substance use and mental health disorder treatment programs, including familiarity with area providers• Knowledge and ability to work with electronic health record systems and PA WITS system• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing• Ability to work with clients to gain confidence and cooperation• Ability to successfully work with others from various cultures and backgrounds• Ability to plan and organize work and prepare appropriate, accurate records, and reports• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, health care providers, referral entities, outside agencies, institutions and the general public• Skilled at using computers, including familiarity and faculty with Microsoft Office programs like Word and Excel
Pennsylvania Position Requirements: The most qualified candidate will hold either a license or certification (CAC, CADC, LCADC, LCADC, LSW, LICSW OR LGSW)• Assessor 1: At minimum, an Associate’s Degree with two “2” years’ clinical experience “OR” a Bachelor’s degree with at least one “1” year of clinical experience.• Assessor 2: At minimum, an Associate’s Degree with three “3” years’ clinical experience “OR” a Bachelor’s degree with two “2” years’ clinical experience.• Assessor 3: At minimum, a Bachelor’s degree with three “3” years’ clinical experience “OR” a Master’s degree with one “1” year of clinical experience.Acceptable degrees include (but are not limited to): Social Work, Psychology, Addiction, Counseling, Health/Human Services, Criminal Justice, Education, Health Administration, Physical Therapy, and more.Pennsylvania Licensure Requirements: All applicants must hold a professional license through DOC or be credentialed through PCB at the time of hire “OR” being working toward licensure or certification with a completion date of no longer than 3 years after date of hire.
