GaugeSaver, a small fast growing Marine Electronics restoration business located in Green Cove Springs Florida, is looking for another electronics technician to add to our small team. 95% of our business is mailed in devices. Daily job duties are including, but not limited to
- Testing of Marine Electronics and gauges on a work bench
- Disassembling the device, removing the Liquid Crystal Display, removing and replacing the polarization, and re-assembling. With before/after pictures of each device.
- Troubleshooting failed devices
- Polishing, using abrasives, compounds, liquids
- Minor electronics repairs, soldering, using a re-work station and various test equipment to validate repairs.
- Communication of any issues/problems to front desk associate
- The right candidate may be tasked to assist with boat rigging, marine electronics installations and repairs, and minor mechanical in our outside shop.
Skills:
- Basic Electronics a plus
- Marine Electronics experience helpful
- Attention to detail
- Mechanical Ability
We're a small laid back office in Green Cove Springs. Our office hours are Monday-Friday 8a-5p, but we are flexible for the right candidate. We will train the right candidate. Pay dependant on experience, no benefits or health care offered at this time. Apply online or in person. 90 Day Probationary period applies.
