The Corporate Sponsorship division is charged with securing corporate funding in support of GBH’s Local and National productions as well as outside productions. Its goal is to raise awareness in the marketplace of GBH’s productions as marketing solutions.
Job Overview
As the Designer for GBH Corporate Sponsorship, you'll be shaping the visual identity of our marketing efforts for both the Local and National Sponsorship teams. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, National Corporate Sponsorship, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting compelling, visually striking materials that drive funding for public media.
Your work will span various projects, from designing dynamic sales presentations to creating collateral showcasing the power of PBS and GBH programming. You'll also bring data to life, using your design expertise to interpret research graphically to elevate sales and attract sponsors. With a flexible balance between National and Local Sponsorship projects, every week will bring exciting new challenges and opportunities to make an impact.
This role is based in Boston, MA, and requires your on-site presence every Tuesday and Wednesday at our Brighton office. Additional in-office days may be required at the discretion of your manager.

- Enhance Our Digital Presence: Create and manage content for our marketing websites, ensuring they remain fresh and up-to-date through our content management system (CMS).
- Support Corporate Sponsorship: Be a go-to resource for the Corporate Sponsorship teams, offering design expertise and technical assistance to elevate their materials.
- Creative Expertise: Unleash your creativity with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign & Photoshop), designing visually impactful materials that stand out.
- PowerPoint Proficiency: Use your strong PowerPoint skills to build dynamic, visually appealing presentations and custom templates.
- Digital Savvy: Enhance our digital presence by working with website Content Management Systems (CMS) to create and manage engaging content.
- Marketing Platform Mastery: Play a key role in designing and optimizing email templates, custom landing pages, and other digital marketing assets.
- Innovative Design Thinking: Present fresh and innovative design ideas, seeing them through from concept to final execution across various media.
- Strong Design Foundation: Apply your knowledge of composition, typography, graphic form, and color theory to deliver stunning visuals.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in marketing and design, with a proven ability to create impactful visuals.
- 1-3 years of experience working with WordPress, designing and customizing templates to enhance user experience.
- At least 1 year of experience utilizing platforms such as HubSpot Marketing Hub, MailChimp, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing, or Constant Contact to design engaging email campaigns and landing pages.
