Job Summary
We are seeking a talented
Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will create designs that capture the attention of our target audience and communicate our brand messaging. Your responsibilities will include determining project requirements and budget constraints, presenting rough drafts to the client, and working in collaboration with them to create the finished product. The ideal candidate is highly creative with a strong portfolio and a passion for the work.
Web Design:
Implement the look and feel of our new website. Knowledge of grid systems, color theory, proportions, and
typography. Build wireframes and design prototypes and templates in the design of each webpage.
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch for both graphic and web design that requires mockups, design
assets, and modifying photos. CSS: Knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) working directly with HTML.
Graphic Design:
Create visually compelling graphics for various marketing materials, including packaging, labels, brochures,
flyers, social media posts, website banners, and advertisements.
Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience,
ensuring designs are aligned with our brand guidelines.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our pet food and treats products to effectively communicate
their unique features and benefits through visual designs.
Utilize your expertise in typography, color theory, and layout design to create captivating designs that
resonate with our customers and drive brand recognition.
Ensure all designs are delivered on time and meet the highest standards of quality, adhering to project
deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Stay updated on design trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to bring innovative and
fresh ideas to the table.
Collaborate with the marketing team and other stakeholders to provide input on creative strategies and
contribute to brainstorming sessions for marketing campaigns.
Maintain a well-organized file management system to ensure easy access to design assets, project files, and
relevant resources.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role, preferably in the consumer-packaged goods
(CPG) or pet industry.
A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in graphic design, including packaging designs, print materials,
digital graphics, and brand identity.
Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator,
InDesign).
Solid understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and composition.
Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all design deliverables.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and interpret project
requirements.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering
high-quality work.
Passion for pets and understanding of pet food and treats industry trends is a plus.

Qualifications
