What you will do:

Provide management of assets and leadership to the employees to provide exceptional customer service while maximizing operational efficiencies that result in enhanced earnings.
  • Implement policies and procedures established by corporate and regional management.
  • Develop annual capital and operating budgets that are consistent with company profitability goals and objectives.
  • Maintain a fully staffed department with qualified and trained personnel that ensures safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
  • Facilitates daily maintenance requirements on assigned plants and equipment for production.
  • Attend sales department meetings and customer site visits to improve customer service.
  • Communicates with customer service team regarding equipment utilization, scheduling of personnel, equipment readiness and capacity capabilities. Works with the customer service manager to train on functionality and use of the batching system.
  • Communicates with maintenance department to ensure equipment readiness and meet production projections. Provide input to maintenance team regarding equipment condition, operator neglect and required repairs.
  • Regularly conducts safety training with all operations personnel to promote a low incident rate at the location.
  • Conduct product knowledge training for the quality control department to improve product knowledge.

Experience & abilities you will need:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Required: 5 years’ experience in the ready-mix industry
  • Required: Continuing education towards ACI level II certification
  • Possess strong management, interpersonal, analytical and computer skills.
  • Able to interact and clearly communicate to all levels of the company, customers, vendors and support agencies.
