Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: Allen, TX
Schedule: Full Time, 9 AM - 5 PM CST, Monday to Friday
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 per year

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to join their team and contribute to their mission of delivering exceptional IT services to their internal employees.

Position Overview:

As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in their IT team by offering technical support and maintenance to their end users. This in-office position requires an individual with a friendly, personable, and solutions-oriented approach who is enthusiastic about learning and adapting to new technologies. You will gain hands-on experience with a wide range of IT tasks and have the chance to enhance your skills in a supportive environment. Their modern infrastructure is completely cloud-based with no on-premise footprint. This role will continue to expand, offering the candidate opportunities to grow within the IT ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform maintenance IT tasks and general office IT maintenance.
    • Assist with configuring, deploying, and supporting IT equipment, applications, systems, and services across their infrastructure.
    • Manage and maintain requests for IT services, repairs, support, inquiries, or complaints.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve tier 1-2 technical and application-related issues while escalating tier 3 issues to appropriate IT personnel.
    • Respond to internal inquiries and requests for technical support while providing users direct assistance and issue resolution.
    • Assist with user onboarding, including setting up new accounts and devices.
    • Provide exceptional customer support to internal employees.
    • Provide documentation for customer support inquiries and resolutions.
    • Collaborate with other IT staff to develop and improve IT and helpdesk workflows and processes, including creating and maintaining supporting documentation.
    • Manage support requests and effectively communicate with other team members for escalation.
    • Continuously innovates with new trends, technologies, and best practices relevant to your role.
    • As assigned, directly assist or support other IT projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
    • 1-4 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Preferred certifications: A /Net , ITIL, Microsoft Certifications, Azure Certifications.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft E5 platform components.
    • Strong technical troubleshooting skills and a passion for technology.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills: friendly, personable, and solution-oriented.
    • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Punctuality and reliability.
    • Multi-tasking ability.
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
