- Position Overview: This position is responsible for executing quality & food Safety procedures and inspections to ensure compliance with company, customer and governmental requirements.
- Principal Accountabilities:
- - Conducts routine quantitative and qualitative inspections on raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, processes, equipment & environment as outlined in the quality assurance plan for the purpose of ensuring food safety, quality & regulatory compliance.
- - Holds primary responsibility for data quality, accuracy and integrity.
Ensures records are maintained and complete. Ensures analytical equipment function performs checks, calibrations and standard maintenance. Prepares reports and customer documents.
- - Utilizes results to assign product/material disposition and is responsible for communicating results.
- - Provides operational support, investigative and troubleshooting assistance.
- - Other duties as assigned
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent;; Moderate computer skills; Demonstrated understanding of basic quality concepts;
Demonstrated basic understanding of chemistry-acids, bases & solvents, food science; Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills,
organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to work overtime as needed which could include week-ends.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
