ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Trouble shooting, programming, setting up, and maintaining robotic systems.
- Must work safely around industrial electronics and equipment and perform duties in a timely manner
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings, follow routers, use simple math to perform calculations, and use precision measuring tools.
- Develop new & simplify existing processes, fixtures, cutting tools, etc. supporting year over year continuous improvement impacting safety, quality, customer delivery and cost.
- Willing and able to assist other team members, oversee and train operators, as needed.
- Must perform and submit annual cost savings projects.
- Competent with basic computer skills: email, excel, word etc.
- Providing manufacturing support of robotic equipment.
- Key emphasis on maintaining and improving reliability and productivity of robotic equipment.
- Programming and documenting code for robotic equipment and process operations.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Able to operate and program, multi axis robot. Minimum of 3 years’ experience with advanced programing, setup, running and troubleshooting robots, but not limited to, adjusting speeds and feeds, fixtures, tooling, programming, etc. to produce parts to tolerance and specification Must work and perform setup and troubleshooting duties in a timely manner Must possess problem-solving abilities Must abide by company rules, policies, and procedures Demonstrated teamwork skills Demonstrated teaching or training skills Experience with CAD/CAM a plus Basic understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control systems in an industrial environment.
