Role Summary-
Provides technical assistance in all aspects of the setup, de-prep and testing of development rig testing.
Responsibilities-
- Interface with external organizations and internal supporting functions
- coordinates the efforts of project team members in order to accomplish overall goals.
- Act as a project leader on specific tasks within the Development Engine Test.
- Facilitate interaction of staff members with each other and external organizations.
- Periodically prepare and implement supporting work plans.
- Coordinate, direct, and coach the activities of project team members.
- Assist the staff contributor or manager in planning work activity for the organization.
Qualifications-
Associates degree in an applicable technical discipline (i.e. Aviation Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Technology, Chemical Technology, etc.) and/or a high school diploma (or GED equivalent) and one year of work experience in a manufacturing or testing environment.
Characteristics-
- A & P License.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Demonstrated initiative.
- Demonstrated success in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience working in a jet engine testing environment.
This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
