Roles and Responsibilities
- Specialize in network-centric analysis (NSM), host-centric analysis (live response, digital forensics), and log-centric analysis (SIEM)
- Perform daily response operations on a schedule that may involve nontraditional working hours
- Write signatures, tune systems/tools, develop scripts and correlation rules
- Analyze host and network forensic artifacts and identify patterns and behaviors related to threat actors
- Documents findings and incident investigations.
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college OR Associates degree with minimum of 3 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 5 years of professional experience
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
Eligibility Requirement:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
- Familiarity with CND-based analytical models (Kill Chain, ATT&CK, Pyramid of Pain, etc.)
- Familiarity with APT, Cyber Crime and other associated tactics
- Familiarity with host forensics and network analysis techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize efforts
- Ability to express thoughts clearly
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
