Essential Responsibilities
- Complete required training curriculum for weld processes
- Ability to obtain required weld certifications for GE
- Complete all required compliance training
- Complete all EHS training and participate in safety and or quality audit
- Be an active contributing member of a high-performance self-directed work team
- Ability to use / apply TIG welding and assembly techniques and inspections
- Ability to read & understand process instructions & weld schedules
- Communicate effectively with Production Control and Process Engineer(s) on needed supplies and consumable materials
- Drive Safety, Quality, and Production metrics within the team business needs.
Qualifications/Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED
- Welding Certification from accredited Trade School or equivalent
Eligibility Requirements
- This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
- Flexibility to work off shifts and travel for training as needed.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision in a team environment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow process planning, part routers, and other quality documents.
- Ability to perform tasks that require manual dexterity, as required
- Complete required training curriculum for weld processes
- Complete all required compliance training
- Complete all EHS training and participate in safety and/or quality audit
- Cross train on other direct labor operations, as required per business need
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
