Roles and Responsibilities
Enable a proactive data management culture by applying data quality, management, and governance subject matter expertise to influence and support a culture of managing data as an asset. This includes the identification, escalation and timely mitigation of data quality, and drive adherence to enterprise data management policies and processes.
Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs
Apply foundational knowledge of Data Management best practices, standards, and policies.
Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
Partner with groups enterprise wide to coordinate and drive collaboration on data quality standard work implementation and remediation execution
Effectively communicate and manage escalations to leadership
Help drive business process change by influencing business partners
Proactively manage data operations support demand against available capacity, prioritize effectively, and leverage lean management techniques to deliver efficient support aligned with prioritization.
Required Qualifications
For roles in USA: Bachelor's Degree, 5 years' experience in Customer Information Management, Master Data Management, or Data Governance.
Desired Characteristics
Excellent communication and leadership skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
Data Management professional with knowledge and understanding of data management concepts such as data stewardship, data lineage, data quality, metadata, etc. including data quality and solving complex data challenges
Passionate about driving change and influencing transformational change
Demonstrated ability to build partnering relationships across the company at all levels (persuasive, good listener and assimilator of ideas and perspectives).
Demonstrated success in collaborating and influencing business units to implement processes/procedures.
Organizational skills and ability to prioritize and operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; ability to deal with ambiguity and drive results often based on limited information.
Demonstrated ability to manage global resources (or contractors) as well as the ability to showcase teamwork skills to achieve common goals, provide resolutions, and share ideas.
