Field Services Digital Systems Architect will be responsible Implementation of all non-corporate controlled digital assets and solutions in Field Services.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Research and develop short-term and long-term strategies for integrating digital solutions with GE Vernova Digital group for Field Services deployment.  This work will include assisting other product lines in developing networked digital solutions to their offerings based on the R-Data model.

• Match customer CTQs to our existing capabilities and development processes to meet future CTQs as provided by the business.

• Act as the interface point to both Corporate IT management and Cybersecurity groups.  Act as the Cyber Security Leader for Field Services.

• Oversight and Implementation of the configuration management of non-core loaded digital tools for the WFSC.  Oversight of WFSC IT Technicians

• Management of the on-demand internet capabilities via low orbit satellite devices and cellular Wi-Fi devices for Field Services.

• Implementation of Low orbit satellite and cellular internet for Field Service deployments

• Direct IT support for Overwatch Tool

• Support business activities including digital tooling and cyber technique development.

• Responsible for training employees and contractors in IT based Field service solutions as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT technology or related field with 5 years of experience in Nuclear Industry

OR

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 8 years of technical experience within the Nuclear Industry

Eligibility Requirements:

• The primary work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC

• Ability and willingness to pass Fitness for Duty requirements.

• Ability and willingness to work in radiation-controlled areas and radioactively contaminated areas.

• Ability and willingness to work 12 hrs. / day seven days per week (When delivering of field projects)

• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

• Ability to climb ten flights of stairs twice per day.

• Ability to pass respirator fit test and physical.

• Ability to pass Fitness for Duty requirements and site security requirements to obtain unescorted access.

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience in NDE Arena surrounding inspection tooling

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Information Technology

• Flexibility to respond to dynamic work and customer environment.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• Familiarity with existing GEH Digital Systems

• Nuclear plant experience

• Excellent computer skills

• Strong Organization skills and self-motivated

The salary range for this position is $78k - 105k. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
