Job Description Summary

This individual performs diverse assignments in support of GEHC product warehousing including receiving, inspection, disposition, staging, storing, picking, reconciliation of raw materials and some final packaging of radio-pharmaceutical finished goods. Participates in/contributes to compliance and quality initiatives, can perform some training of other team members.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and disposition materials per SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)

• Develops root cause analysis skill set, makes independent recommendations and documents non-conforming materials & processes

• Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or PIT’s

• Physically and systemically perform picking & allocation of individual raw materials under time sensitive deadlines

• Perform timely order picking with intermediate trouble shooting skills using MRP/RF systems

• Coordinate with on-site and/or off-site warehousing facilities for materials replenishment and material for storage

• Initiates discussions with Manufacturing QC/QA & Logistics personnel to resolve/prevent material shortages

• Reviews/suggests process improvements for critical documentation used for recording, allocating and dispersing a variety of regulated materials. 

• Assign and/or perform cycle count audits of physical inventory with intermediate trouble shooting skills

• Lead inventory reconciliation and report discrepancies to Group Lead/Supervisor

• Train other team members through technical communications and/or presentations

• Lead/compliance/quality activities, identify defect trends, learn about quality matrix and pass information to other coordinators

• Interacts daily with other departments in the execution of duties to ensure orderly flow of materials and information

• Drive culture and compliance with EHS, Quality and DMS systems, regulations and policies

Required Qualifications:

• High school Diploma/GED or local equivalent

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a cGMP environment

• Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in local language

• Proficient in basic mathematics

• Ability to work various shifts on-call, weekends & holidays

• Intermediate knowledge/use of MRP, Quality & EHS systems  

• Ability to consistently lift

• OSHA PIT Certification

• Experience with 21CFR, parts 11, 210, 211 in the FDA regulated industry

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma experience
