Job Description Summary
The primary objective of the position is to apply lean tools and methodologies to drive activities and actions to improve relevant plant KPI’s (both financial and non-financial).Activities such as leading and participating in improvement projects (Kaizen events, Lean Six Sigma, PDCA, etc.), training/mentoring others on lean tools/methodologies (5S, Standard Work, 8 Wastes, Problem-Solving, etc.), improving daily management and communication methods, creating and maintaining Value Stream Maps, data analysis, and networking will also be at the core of this position to ensure sustainable results and development of Lean culture at the plant.
This will be accomplished through effective collaboration and working relationships with broad range of stakeholders across the plant in all functions and across all shifts. This position will utilize Lean Principles, Six Sigma, Management of Change, Project Management principles and other techniques in combination with training, coaching, and influencing skills to achieve specific financial and non-financial objectives.
The position will also actively participate in the broader scope of the Lean function including promoting and implementing the departments strategy/road map.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Six Sigma tools and techniques (Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from recognized Institute is preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Skills in using Microsoft Suite Applications, Primarily Excel
- Flexible for international travel up to 10% of their time

- Welding certification
- Ability to conceptualize, design, and fabricate own ideas into reality
