Job Description Summary
As a member of this world class team, the Lead Project Site Engineer will execute the protection and control aspects of Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, testing, start-up and commissioning of the electrical aspects of fixed series capacitors (FSC), static VAR compensation (SVC) and synchronous condenser (SC) solutions within GE’s FACTS portfolio.Job Description
Job Duties:
1.Coordinate and lead the successful introduction of new renewable energy grid solutions, ensuring seamless integration into existing infrastructure.
2.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality to develop and execute NPI plans, timelines, and deliverables.
3.Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the NPI process, identifying and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Required:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
2. 3 Years of experience in the Electrical or Power Industry
The salary range for this position is 100,000 to 160,000 Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
