Gear LLC has Immediate Opportunities for Direct Hire Maintenance Technicians for Leading Manufacturing facilities in the Morristown, TN area. Summary
Performs machine repairs, improvements and preventative maintenance within a manufacturing facility. Must be able to diagnose electrical issues.
Essential Duties:
Individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily.
- Inspect all safety equipment prior to use.
- Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Acquire knowledge and ability to make electrical and mechanical repairs to equipment, use maintenance shop equipment, hand tools and computers.
- Able to work in a fast paced team environment without direct supervision.
- Must complete First Responder Training (including First Aid, CPR and Blood-borne Pathogens).
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Skills/Knowledge:
- 2 years recent Maintenance experience in a Manufacturing facility required
