What are the responsibilities and job description for the Highway Worker position at Geauga County Engineer's Office?
Interested in being a Highway Worker I? The responsibilities of the Highway Worker I are to maintain and repair county highway roads and bridges under the close supervision of the Supervisory Staff. They are also responsible for the careful and safe operation of a variety of motorized equipment including snow and ice removal in the winter.
Required: Completion of secondary education or equivalent; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have CDL Class-A with Tanker Endorsement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
