Job Title: Category Lead / Enterprise Vendor Manager
Location: Primarily remote, 1-2 business days onsite to Owings Mills, MD once offices reopen.
Type: 3 Months Contract to Hire
Summary:
The hired resource will be working with “high spend” vendors with contracts that total an excess of $100M per year (IT, Government and Commercial programs). Will be assigned 2-3 vendor contracts to start (eventually up to 5) and will be responsible for working with Ariba and Compliance360 systems to set up vendor scorecards, monthly reporting (internally and external to vendors), tracking KPI’s vs SLA’s in place and overall vendor communication. The resource will be joining the newly formed Enterprise Vendor Management Office.
Top Must Haves:
- 4 years of vendor management experience – tracking vendor SLA’s and overall performance
- Experience implementing vendor scorecards, reporting vendor data (internally and external to vendors) tracking KPI’s vs SLA’s
- Thorough knowledge of vendor management best practices and trends
- Expert communication and relationship management skills, including ability to partner with, collaborate and influence colleagues and vendors
Preferred:
- Experience in a highly regulated environment like healthcare, federal, of finance
- Experience with Ariba, Oracle Financials, Compliance360 and/or PowerBI (for reporting automation)
- Experience implementing vendor management policies and procedures

Salary: Up to $100,000.00 per year
