Front End Technical Lead

Summary

The Technical Lead is responsible for ensuring the technical aspects of projects are clearly defined and executed according to the project plan. You are the primary point of contact for clients related to technical components and will be responsible for ensuring the project deliverables are outlined and understood. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert and mentor and provide technical support or leadership in the development. You will manage the delivery of technical projects from start to finish while ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget. 

What you’ll do:

• Act as the technical liaison with the client and other stakeholders
• Inform the client of the project from a technical perspective and explain time commitments
• Lead meetings related to technical questions and provide context of the pieces of the project  
• Meet with clients to craft technology solutions that will meet their business goals 
• Lead large development projects from start to finish including technical requirements gathering, data modeling, technology selection, and deployment
• Assign tasks to the other developers on the team
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively to meet our clients’ delivery expectations
• Manage code reviews and delegate responsibilities to senior developers as appropriate
• Mentor teammates to share your knowledge and build a stronger team

What we look for:

• Seasoned professional with general frontend skill sets 
• 7 years of professional front end developer experience
• 3 years of professional TypeScript experience
• 3 years of professional React experience
• Proven experience with headless front end builds
• Comfortability with laying out and styling most arbitrary designs
• Strong verbal, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience working in CMS platforms such as Drupal or Sitecore is a plus
• Experience with living style guides is a plus
